Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

It seems almost impossible to wrap my head around all that happened in 2011. As I sit here and reflect upon the year, I can't help being overcome with emotions. 2011 was an amazing year. And amazing doesn't even do the year justice. It was miraculous, fantabulous and downright wonderful. Not each year may be like this one, and I understand that. Life is full of challenges. There's highs, lows, ups and downs. What matters is that you accept life's events as they happen and remain positive that the Lord always has a plan. Always.

I want to begin 2012 being grateful for the past year, but I also want to begin it with an open and most of all, forgiving heart. I am quick to forgive, but rarely, if ever, forget. And really, when you think about it, my heart shouldn't have room for any animosities or grudges. My heart is already full of gratitude for 2011 and I want to keep it that way moving forward. Pure and simple gratitude. Period.

Happy New Year and may all the best of 2011 be just a preview of what's to come in 2012!
